What is Grace, Notes and Kindness?
Grace, Notes and Kindness is a community of encouragers who believe in the power of a handwritten note, a kind word, and a simple act of love. We come together to uplift those who are lonely, isolated, or hurting, and to celebrate the joys of life, big and small. Whether it’s through sending a card, sharing words of encouragement, or praying for one another, we seek to reflect God’s love in everyday ways.
How can I join Grace, Notes and Kindness?
Grace, Notes and Kindness is hosted in a private Facebook group. You can request to join here. Once you’re in, you’ll find a warm, welcoming community where you can both give and receive encouragement.
What do you send cards for?
Pretty much everything! Cards, letters, and notes of encouragement are sent for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and everyday needs like:
Encouragement during illness or hardship
Sympathy during seasons of grief or loss
Celebrating new babies, weddings, or new homes
Reaching out to the homebound, nursing homes, or those who feel forgotten
Just to say “hello” and remind someone they are loved
We believe that no occasion is too small for kindness. A simple note can mean the world.
Do I have to send cards all the time?
Not at all! You can participate as much or as little as you’d like. Some members send cards regularly, while others join in when a request touches their heart. Every act of kindness matters, no matter how often.
Is this a faith-based group?
Yes, Grace, Notes and Kindness is rooted in Christian faith and the call to encourage one another. While not every note has to be faith-centered, many of our members find joy in sharing scriptures, prayers, and Christ’s love through their words. Everyone with a heart for encouragement is welcome.
Why is it called Grace, Notes and Kindness?
The name reflects our heart: grace reminds us of God’s love freely given, notes remind us of the joy of handwritten encouragement, and kindness is the thread that ties it all together. Together, they create a community that lifts others up and shines light in dark places.
